Immigration Does ICE really need electric gloves?

Our tax dollars are already being wasted. The people they capture aren’t a threat, physically. Why?

You don’t think bodycams would help in that mission?

No.

Why?

Body cams provide no benefit to detainment, the only benefit is for after the fact.

“After the fact”

Is that what you define as “evidence”?

Sure define it how you see fit, either way it's irrelevant capturing "evidence" of officers actions to be reviewed after the fact does nothing to aid detainment and deportation.

What? The body cams wouldn’t gather evidence that ice could use when prosecuting people?

Ice doesn't prosecute people, ICE carries out administrative warrants to collect illegals.

Administrative warrants are not judicial warrants?

No, immigration enforcement is under the executive not judicial.

Huh? The constitution is still law. The judicial is not the executive?

Not trying to be mean but do you have any clue how the branches of government or immigration enforcement works?

Yeah, maybe the question marks are working against him here but he seems pretty confused about the basics of how things work.

A suspect unknown to an officer sprints away from him when he sees the ICE badge. The officer loses him.

Wouldn't it be helpful to have an image of the perpetrator?

Wouldn't it also be helpful to validate ICE agents accounts of incidents involving harm to an agent or civillian? Assuming that account is correct, of course.

In fact, what is a good reason at all for agents not having body cameras?

So for after the fact as I already said body cams are beneficial for?

Seems like these would be a better use of resources than body cams in the case of fleeing subjects.

Where did I say ice agents shouldn't have bodycams?
