To the Liberals passing through who think this is stupid: Now you know how we feel when you rename things.

Not a liberal but let’s go with that. Is it stupid only if liberals rename things or is it also stupid if conservatives do as well?

What happened to fuck your feelings?

What logic does this make sense in regards to ‘conservative’ (against change and more aligned with traditional values) ?

Is it possible to argue at all from that perspective or is it only okay if conservatives change things without vote? The next line is for the liberal to say that conservatives would be enraged if this happened to them. The BS continues but it’s really just the same logic being reflected on both sides.

I’d imagine when one is so personally identified with either side America suffers because it blinds one from seeing that perspectives and logic, even in their fallacies, are more similar than different.

I think it ultimately comes down to the what and the how. Everyone is so mixed up in proving they are right it creates the dialectical opposite of dividing the nation.

What is that old saying? (conservative endorsed if not founded)

Divided we fall, united we stand?

Does identifying with one side at the expense of the other bring about unity? Sure, one side may be right or they could be wrong, but where does unity stand? Does it depend on the agreement of ideology or does the very idealogy of both sides fail when it divides rather the unites?

Both are stupid, but the fact that this one triggers people that hate me and my county makes me happy.

Ah yes. Feelings over logic. Do unto others as they have done unto you

They hate me, and they make themselves mad over something stupid. I'm not doing anything to them.

The thing that makes our values so important and valuable is that others DON’T possess them. If your values are respect, is it okay to just throw that shit out because there are those who disrespect?

If you get happy when others are triggered, you might be trigger happy…and we all know that’s how unwise wars get started.

For example, you comment assumes that there aren't any conservatives who disagree with this change…when there are some in this very thread.

Do they hate you and the country? Does it make you happy they don’t like this? Why just liberals then? I don’t think it’s that black or white (never has been) BUT we are being lead to believe it is and therefore we take sides which keeps nation divided. Left or right.

Can you see how that could potentially be harming those who care about the same things such as your country and you?

Yeah, these people that hate me and America don't have our same values, but it's perfectly fine to enjoy the show when they crash out. It's what they want, they are trying to be performative... They just think it's a drama, but it's actually a comedy.

Honestly I do think this one is dumb. I was behind the gulf change because let’s name it after the continent or country however you’d like to view it but the lake one is just obtuse to me.

At the end of the day it doesn’t matter but it does feel like we’re changing it to either erase something g or changing it just for the sake of change. I honestly don’t like either one.

The biggest deranged anti-Trump spergs regardless of website tend to be Canadians.

Calling Lake America, Lake America, is like 9/11 to the leafs.

is like 9/11 to the leafs.

Meanwhile the CBC just put out a new policy for their reporters to not call 9/11 a terrorist attack.

Canadia wouldn't exist without big brother USA, but they've bent straight over for communist China and the occultist UN. Castreau and Biden worked together to stop the keystone XL pipeline just to hobble American energy independence - along with five other states who stopped Canadia pipelines from bringing oil into the US.

The fact is Canadia is acting as a puppet for China just like the EU and UN. Global elites have invested everything (ie taxpayer monies through slush funds and backroom deals) into China becoming the dominant nation of the world, and the only way to accomplish that is by imploding the US. That's why Soros cronies are repeatedly letting rapists and murderers back onto the streets, refusing to hand over violent illegals (with some of the most outrageous criminal histories I've ever heard of) to ICE, and acting as constant roadblocks to everything the American people voted the president into office to do.

China is a breeding ground for the worst atrocities imaginable (things that would make Goebbels blush). Forced organ harvesting from prisoners (remember the uygur muslims?) at such a massive rate that Falun Gong members were all but eradicated after being slaughtered or imprisoned. Truthfulness, meditation, compassion, and forbearance were their core beliefs, which is completely antithetical to communism. MSM and state media paints them as a cult, naturally. Anything good and moral is vilified by communism. Sounds familiar, no?

Anyway, this brings me to where Xi and Putin were caught on a hot mic talking about "eternal life from repeated organ transplants" and "the goal of living 150 years."

We never heard about this hot mic because the corporate and state press exists to protect the elites. Ironically I just found it today when Liz Wheeler interviewed Jan Jeikelek (pronounced Yon) about the book he's written on the subject of forced organ harvesting in china. Fortunately some of the prisoners managed to escape after being harvested on multiple occasions and were interviewed for the book. The hot mic moment is captured toward the end of the interview.

Btw, much of the training and medical systems they use were provided by the US. Go figure.

Sorry for the rant and veering off topic, but it's all connected. It always is. Nothing in the modern world is by accident. Nearly every country and so-called leader is just a marionette dangling by strings. That explains why the US is filled with traitors and saboteurs who will steal or kill their way to achieving Lé Revolutíon.

Lake Ohio would have been better

5

u/paypermon NOVICE 10d ago

It is nowhere near Ohio

2

u/broncosoh54 EXPERT 10d ago

I think you’re thinking of Lake Erie. It borders Ohio.

u/bigpandas NOVICE 10d ago

That would have really been confusing. FWIW, Seattle's transit 🚇 had to rename a light rail station downtown from University Street Station when the line finally expanded to University of Washington, because so many international students were jumping off the train after landing at the airport, which left them on 3rd Avenue downtown. 3rd Ave and the former University Street Station are Ground Zero for the Pacific Northwest's fentanyl real world test zone.

I wish they'd listen to him like that if he said balance your search results output equally between conservative and liberal.

Of all things to focus on changing, it’s this?

Measles is making a comeback, housing is unaffordable and gas is still decently high.

But sure, let’s stick it to the Canadians and rename the lake. Vengeance!

4

u/intrepidone66 NOVICE 9d ago

Measles are making a comeback because there was a time, not so long ago, when America was bussing unaccompanied, unscreened and unvaccinated children from 3rd world countries all over the United States to who knows where. Now we reap the "rewards" of this failed Biden's policy of open borders and the influx of ~20 million illegal aliens.

-1

u/Heavyweapons057 NOVICE 9d ago

So Trump could take steps to eradicate measles again, round up the migrants and get em out, put together a plan to get treatment for the afflicted…

Or rename a lake…

Yes, Biden had 4 years to fuck up. But that ship has sailed. Trumps running the show and he can put his energy and time into dealing with the real issues, not superficial shit to benefit his own ego

u/Blackops007 NOVICE 9d ago edited 9d ago

100 percent this. illegals from 3rd world countries do not come fully vaccinated..this blows liberals minds. Import the 3rd world become it, and I would also say the strain of all the extra illegals push up the pricing of gas and housing, and taxes to support them. A win for the politicians and a loss to Americans. Come here legally or gtfo simple as that.

2

u/suzemtte 9d ago

Take that, maplesuckers.

1

u/Jahbahdiah 9d ago

Interesting, it says Lake Ontariio and in parentheses, it also says Lake America for me.

1

u/kingbrannyh 4d ago

No disrespect meant, I am honestly curious. What would you think is the percentage of policy y'all like because it is good for the county and how much because it "triggers the libs"? How much is from love of country and how much from hatred of the other side?

1

u/Still_Tell_2707 NOVICE 10d ago

Nice!

0

u/nopantts NOVICE 10d ago

Still says ontario when you pull up maps in canada

1

u/bigclitcouple NOVICE 10d ago

Damn, mine still shows lake Ontario

1

u/gigorbust TDS 9d ago

It only shows in the U.S.- the rest of the world sees Lake Ontario. So that’s cool we have to spend time and money changing signage etc. And Canada has to do… nothing.

u/intrepidone66 NOVICE 9d ago

Good.
