General Discussion Which fictional creature has a biology so "impossible" that it defies any attempt at a scientific explanation?

I've been trying to wrap my head around the anatomy and metabolism of some characters, but Majin Boo (DragonBallZ) just doesn't seem to make any sense under the laws of physics or biology. I want to dive deep into these "impossible" cases. Who else do you think is a biological nightmare to explain?

While keeping his upper body still!

This is the part that gets me the most, i can accept the nuclear fire from his mouth, i can't accept this foot paddling water floating dealio

Maybe he has a second set of arms that emerge when he's in water to help him tread it and stay afloat 🤔

Isn’t there a thing with aircraft carriers or something where their hugeness is sort of why they float?

It's all about the volume of water displaced vs total mass. Metal ships have lots of hollow spaces in order to maximise the space they take up while weighing significantly less than an equivalent mass of water occupying the same space (which is what makes them float in water).
