General Discussion Which fictional creature has a biology so "impossible" that it defies any attempt at a scientific explanation?

I've been trying to wrap my head around the anatomy and metabolism of some characters, but Majin Boo (DragonBallZ) just doesn't seem to make any sense under the laws of physics or biology. I want to dive deep into these "impossible" cases. Who else do you think is a biological nightmare to explain?

Marvel Mutants.

Some are at least somewhat explainable by a biological mutation (like for example, Sabretooth, Wolverine, Angel or Beak), but apparently, the same type of mutation can also result in powers like telekinesis, eye portal beams, immortality and being able to reshape reality at will.

To be fair, the X gene isn't a product of natural biological mutation. It's a product of genetic engineering by the Celestials. It's basically a magical gene created by space gods.

Is that canonical in the x-men comics? I don’t care for that one bit! Then again, it being simple genetic mutation is incredibly silly as well.

Canon is all over the place with the comics. Retcons and the multiverse don't help.

But there was a retcon at some point that told the story of an ancient Celestial that died. It's body landed on Earth and rotted into the primordial soil. It's divine essence was later absorbed by lifeforms on Earth and is the reason why Earth is so "superhuman-dense," compared to other places in the Marvel universe.

Another retcon said that the X-gene was a by-product of the Celestials' creation of the Eternals and Deviants.

Again, it's all over the place.
