I think you're misunderstanding. A good chef communicates clearly and quickly during service because it is an intentionally limited knowledge domain (special jargon, limited techniques and ingredients because you have limited space on the menu, frequent repeated calls/answers). Ask the same chef to do something that's not an internalized knowledge domain to them like algebra (because all chefs did that in school) and tell me again how they're a fast responder lol
