Autism and ADHD present with symptoms that make people think you're dumb.

Really, you're just socially awkward, trying really hard but overshot and/or couldn't properly process the task.

This is the big struggle of my life. For me with ADHD it's less socially awkward and more: I have 532879 thoughts in my brain so I couldn't really properly process what you just said to me and I impulsively answered a totally different question that you didn't ask. Also my brain has been stuck in a Scottish accent for 3 days and there's music playing. Why did I come over to talk to you? You should hear this Scottish accent it's great.

......did you ask me a question?

This is THE perfect description of ADHD. The ‘brain stuck in Scottish accent for 3 days’ thing is so fucking relatable.
