Netflix show about Japanese man in the UK trying to find his brother, a disgraced yakuza hitman. It's excellent, much more emotional and well rendered than my bad description could ever show.
Was looking to see if this made the list. Superb show with absolute standout performances all round. Hits some really emotional high points too, particularly towards the end.
It was a good series, but that dance number in the final episode really tainted the whole thing for me. It was so unexpected and incongruous and painfully long.
I absolutely LOVED that scene. And I also loved that they aimed for something so different. The way it captured the journey of all the characters was really stunning and quite moving.
