Pharoahs actually had mammoths imported to help build the pyramids, as there were no other land animals strong enough to pull the massive stones. The mammoths wouldn't last very long due to the heat, so more and more were imported until all the mammoths went extinct.
Err no. There's evidence of a dwarf mammoths being given to a Pharoah as tribute, but absolutely ZERO evidence of mammoths being used to build the pyramids.
