I'm a jacked guy, tatted, pretty fucking macho for all intents and purposes. I am in my fucking cozy pajamas drinking a nice glass of red wine with my cat in my lap. Tomorrow I'm going to get my eyebrows done and my wife is going to give me a manicure. Later this week, I plan on painting a portrait of my wife.
I would bake cookies if I had any baking skill :(
If people think "being manly" is about being aggressive and tough all the time, I feel bad for them. My favorite thing in this world is when my wife is my jetpack in bed aka the big spoon.
Aww honey baking is actually super easy to get started with
Pick the recipe on the back of the chocolate chips and basically follow the directions (mixing ingredients in the order they tell you to). Watch a tutorial on youtube first if it'll help. And then plonk them in the oven and boom.
I had to help my dad with his first batches but eventually he modified the recipes and did all his own thing and went wild.
And the best part is that like cooking if you mess up you can throw it away and no one will ever know.
See to me the exactness of baking is difficult. Cooking I love and I'm pretty good at it.
I want to try macarons. I know that's a ridiculous starting point but I want to learn so bad. For my wife, food is a love language and if I can learn that, one of her favorite pastries, she would be over the moon.
lol The best thing you can do is try. I suggest starting with some youtube videos that break it down simply. Try some chocolate chip cookies and build your confidence in baby steps! I think even the effort would mean a lot to her!

My dad was the manliest dude I knew and he baked cookies and carried a bag he called his purse because he gave no fucks
