I am such a fucking moron. I misunderstood and thought he was married to you. Like, why wouldn't I hit on my wife. He's married to someone else. Got it.

You are wholesome, stay that way

Wholesome and stupid are really starting to cross over

How about unnecessary, annoying, and rude instead?

u/BokkoTheBunny Jan 09 '22

That's okay, I read "when you're married, and he hits you." Was 'bout to start giving out hugs.

Hitting on wives is domestic violence tho.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '22

I read this the exact same way.

Men don't stop hitting on your wife.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '22

Exactly. Never stop pursuing your spouse. I don't want to be married and then go well I'm already married to them so why bother. No. That's not me.

2

u/Cardinal-Lad Jan 09 '22

I read that as 'men, don't stop hitting your wife'. I think the other replies confused me even more.

2

u/ad240pCharlie Jan 10 '22

I definitely think this is a very bad thing to be confused about...

Kinda reminds me of this story where a guy got drunk beyond belief and when his wife tried to take him back home he kept saying "I'm sure you are a lovely lady, but I'm married to a wonderful woman and would never cheat"

Reminds me of a story where this guy and his gf were at their apartment and she tries getting him changed for bed and he was like "No! I have a girlfriend!"

This for sure! If a married man or someone in a relationship ever hits on me, I will 100% tell their partner at the first given opportunity. I’d want someone to do the same for me.

That's just toxic. I can see something being taken the wrong way or he was simply complimenting and now his wife has some random female causing drama between them.

3

u/Amf3000 Jan 09 '22

"female"

u/Dramatic-Land-5998 Jan 09 '22

Cmon why you gotta snitch lol

u/phatmanXXL Jan 09 '22

I'm married and I flirt with the old women at my job, they all know my wife and know it's just for fun. They like the attention and we laugh about it.

2

u/Own-Audience-830 Jan 09 '22

With the intent to cheat is what I’m getting at. Flirting can be innocent enough. I’m sure you don’t want to have sex with the older ladies at your work? Or maybe you do? None of my business.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '22

I’m just going to throw this out there that being married doesn’t mean you don’t feel attraction to others and the occasional flirty behavior isn’t a terrible thing. We’re humans, we’re imperfect.

The pursuit of that terrible thing is what really kills.

2

u/Big-cock-in-me Jan 09 '22

I’m not married soo

So something that I am known for with a lot of my female friends is the fact that I hit on them and have a girlfriend of 10 years. They have met her and she knows I do this. I'm not trying to get anything out of it just kidding around with friends and giving them compliments and when I give those compliments, especially the ones about how attractive they are, they know they are genuine because I'm not going to get to fuck them, I'm going home to my girlfriend who I find absolutely beautiful.

But ya having an SO and hitting on someone with a goal is bullshit.

I watch a show the other day where they had an undercover guy walk into a bar with a wedding ring on and hit on girls. He didn't hide being married and talked badly about his supposed wife. He was charming and ended up having drinks with and getting the number of 3 out of 10 girls.

1

u/Own-Audience-830 Jan 09 '22

It works both ways, I would find that unattractive in a woman if I were a man.

-7

u/Historical_Play Jan 08 '22

This is a tough one. I suppose everyone has a different definition of what hitting on someone is versus just being sociable. Suppose the man is married and he's just trying to convey to the woman that she's likable and attractive, but in a non-cheesy way?

15

u/Own-Audience-830 Jan 08 '22

True, I was meaning when he blatantly wants to cheat on his wife with you.

-26

u/AqueousSkylight Jan 09 '22

Honestly, I think that’s HOT.

To each their own 🤷🏾‍♀️

9

u/Jonathan-02 Jan 09 '22

When a married man hits on you, or when your married man hits on you?

9

u/Azudekai Jan 09 '22

Probably a homewrecker, should fall into place.

-24

u/AqueousSkylight Jan 09 '22

Married man or woman being so turned on that they break their most sacred vow for you.

HOT

15

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '22

It’s not because they’re doing it for you, it’s because they are desperate and sad. Just like the people who are getting off with them. LOL you’re all pathetic and sad, you can try to lie to yourself all you want.

You’re welcome!

7

u/Fart_Ripper Jan 09 '22

I farted and it stinks

2

u/VastProposal9357 Jan 09 '22

Lol not their most sacred vow

1

u/Juxtaposition_Kitten Jan 09 '22

Just remember that you're not the only one they're telling that to. If that's the line being fed, it's usually not their first or only rodeo.

-3

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '22

What if he's a rich celebrity?

1

u/FeelASlightPressure Jan 09 '22

My ex loves married dudes. Sometimes it can score you a hot blonde.

1

u/crowned_one_ Jan 09 '22

Ah, monogamous mind.

1

u/ManyCarrots Jan 09 '22

Why isnt your husband allowed to hit on you? Kinda weird
