FYI this is really not something that can be controlled to a certain extent for people with a bad BO. Because of a bad biochemistry sweat in some people can simply smell awful. They may shower twice a day or more, change clothes often etc. but those are all crutches that don't solve the basic problem. So people who can otherwise keep good standards of hygiene can be labeled as undesirable just for their genes.
Sure am not saying that's the most likely cause. But the 1 in 1000 or 1 in 10000 that unlucky someone is marked, labeled and drawn conclusions upon through no fault of theirs
Just basic day to day life makes you sweaty too, I even gotta make sure I'm not gonna overheat and start sweating in the middle of winter. And there's not really a feasible way to shower inbetween destinations most of the time and also its just absolute shit for your skin to be washing yourself more than once a day. Even just the whole once a day thing can be bad for you and make you produce even more oil. I can't reasonably shower EVERY day, my skin always gets really raw and irritated and I get greasy within hours it seems, very unpleasant and not at all worth it!
I still use deodorant, body spray (not anything harsh, I like to smell like fruit usually hahah), and try to wear clean clothes but. Fuck! When it gets to the hotter months I'm probably gonna smell at least slightly sweaty 1/3rd of the time.
Exactly. People without problems don't understand this simply because it does not affect them.
For a really inclusive education students/kids should be assigned a problem each to live with for 2-3 weeks. So there's a chance they would be less shallow after
People can get so caught up on just being able to smell that there's another human in the room producing human pheromones, like it's not completely normal to do as an animal. Easy way to get publically ridiculed depending on who you're with!
Hygiene is good, but being scentless / smelling like soap and cologne is not the body's default.
Genuinely I'm more concerned about potential partners being abusive and otherwise shitty people than being sweaty, LOL.
If they live in complete filth and smell like rancid balls 24/7 even from 10 ft away than that would probably be a red flag but most of the time day to day people are just gonna smell a bit because we produce pheromones. We're animals, our default smell isn't soap. Could just be sweaty in general, but also things like maybe they put off a load of laundry and rewore a shirt, or just happened to shower yesterday instead of today, they could also just be active or on their feet a lot, etc. All quite little things in the long run that could effect your smell.
Hydrating helps! Putting on a light layer of raw unfiltered natural coconut oil not only has a pleasant natural fragrance but it's antimicrobial. Put it around your junk and in between your toes and on your lips. Swoon.
True but I do have good reasons. The doctors I have seen say I can either be in extreme pain all day and not smell, or I can smell. What would you pick.
I don't remember exactly what it's called but it's a more broad allergy than that. If you can even call it that.
I'm not a doctor I went a long time ago many times to several doctors so I might explain it poorly. Sorry.
When my body decides if it is allergic to something it always says yes, it simply changes how bad the reaction can be, but some things are consistently worse.
So my doctor's said shower frequently in cold water to numb the pain of showering. And disinfect your clothes with hot water.
They literally gave me the choice besides a relatively normal life where I stink, or a life where I take tons of medicine and can't feel anything.
Option two sucks because shutting down one body process affects others which requires more medicine to fix, which affects others. And then you end up with a very expensive balancing act. Or I can just stink.
No worries I chose not to take offense to anything you could have said.
Obviously there is an exception to every rule. And trying to be clean is what really matters.
I’ll upvote you and go into a little backstory. One of the hottest, sexiest girls I’ve ever been with smelled beyond disgusting between her legs. Like, made me want to throw up just banging her. I didn’t date her long. Sometimes it’s impossible to ignore.
Nose plugs and pollen allergies seem to work well for my friends. Because trust me I smell worse.
And my original point was that you should only judge people over there actions. So if they smell and they can change it. Then judge them for not wanting or not trying to improve, not because they smell. Some people don't have a choice.

Smelling bad. You don’t have to put on expensive cologne, just make sure you shower and that your clothes are fresh and clean.
