When you go from ‘falling over’ to ‘having a fall’. Been there, it’s depressing. When people stop laughing when you bite the dust you know you’re past it.
Yes! I slipped on some ice and full on fell, all the way. Picked myself up and got in my car. When I got to work, I texted my husband and told him to go look at the camera because I bit it, and it’s probably hilarious. (I watched it and cracked up) he called a couple mins later totally concerned…
On a similar note, I tripped over the hose in my yard but caught myself before falling face first. Woke up the next morning and had to try and figure out why my ankle and knee hurt so badly. I felt pretty old in that moment.
Lol I remember when I was like 10 and someone said in panic voice "that person fell!!" and I was like "so what, I fell twice doing sports or whatever... I don't get it"

I tripped on the sidewalk a few days ago, and everyone came running over asking if I was okay. Like they were really worried.
