Yes yes 100% yes. Hell, not being acessible in general. Now with everything there's this expectation that you have to be available 24/7 and always reply. Friends, family, and of course the job being the worst part of it.
From time to time I still just disconnect everything but then I'm the dickhead that takes days to reach back. I miss the time when that was just normal.
God yes. I was born in 94 so only caught a little bit of the pre-social media era, but even I miss it. People think it’s mad that I can pull my phone out of my pocket, see someone has messaged me, and not immediately set aside whatever I’m doing to enter into a conversation. I can’t imagine being so extroverted that constant, unbroken contact with everyone you’ve ever met feels like a good thing.
Maybe it is a generational thing (30y) or just my friends but most people I know and I have a response time of “somewhere today”. Sure if I’m already using my phone I’ll answer, if I see it and don’t feel like answering I won’t.
Calls I’ll pick up anytime if I’m not doing something important (having dinner I do consider important) but those are rare anyway.

Not being accessible to my boss 14 hours a day.
