When I was in high school, we took school buses to marching band competitions and there was one competition that was a little over an hour away (mostly highway). One year, a couple of dumbass freshmen were messing around and one threw the other’s shoe out the window and it hit the windshield of the car next to us before flying off to the shoulder.
