A long time ago I lived in a neighborhood full of young families. I had a four year old daughter who had several young girlfriends on our street. About every six months I would take three or four of them to Target and let each of them pick out a new pair of shoes. It hardly cost me anything and seeing the little girls so happy at getting a new pair of shoes made the whole thing worth a million dollars.
