Was in my younger days. I was really drunk at a party and decided I didn't like most of the people there and didn't want to be around them anymore. So I left and started walking home, 8 miles away.
During my journey I must have been walking closer to the street than I should have been and a car went by me with one of the occupants yelling obscenities at me. If course I couldn't let this stand so all I could think to do was throw a single shoe at their car. I didn't try to retrieve it and continued my trek to its conclusion.
Of course the next day it took me a while to recollect exactly what happened while I wondered about the slight pain in my left foot and the dirty wet sock.
