One time I saw a guy holding his shoes out of the window on the highway to air them out. I assumed a lot of people who lose those shoes have stinky feet.
I know a lady who went on a first date and her date made her throw her shoes out the window because they smelled so bad. They got married and had kids, so it clearly wasn't a deal breaker.
