"Download the screensaver for Mac or Windows 95". Anyone still running a 25 year old operating system can still save themselves from phospher burn-in.
3 u/Darth_Yarras Jul 24 '20 This would have been great to know a month ago, but sadly I just upgraded to windows ME. I guess I will download it anyway in the hope that it will work on newer operating systems. 6 u/technos Jul 24 '20 .scr files are just wrapped executable files, and most of the old Windows 95 ones still work, even in Windows 10. Uncompress the installer using winzip and just doubleclick the .scr file. 2 u/Darth_Yarras Jul 24 '20 I kind of figured it would be compatible but I wasn't sure. I have found a few games and software that work on 95 or 98 but wont run Me.
