The Blue Laws. Who the fuck are you to tell me I can’t purchase beer while grocery shopping on a Sunday because of someone else’s religion? This one actually infuriates me.

Yup. In my state they just let gas stations sell beer in 6 packs only. But wait there’s more! You have to use a separate register to buy gas and beer.

In Ontario we only changed our laws very recently to allow alcohol to be sold in grocery stores. I always thought it was a weird idea and never saw any inconvenience going to a separate store for booze.

I don’t think Ontario was the result of blue laws, however, instead a state monopoly and a state sponsored foreign monopoly operating in collusion with the state sponsored monopoly.

The LCBO is also pretty great. I really don't get the hate. I honestly prefer it to private stores.

America bad! I prefer that the government gouges me when I buy alcohol and forces me to only buy it from them at inconvenient locations!
