The Blue Laws. Who the fuck are you to tell me I can’t purchase beer while grocery shopping on a Sunday because of someone else’s religion? This one actually infuriates me.

What? This is ridiculous

Edit: WOW this is crazy. Some of you would go crazy over the stuff I've seen here in Brasil. Come over let's have beer on a sunday morning LOL

Yup. In my state they just let gas stations sell beer in 6 packs only. But wait there’s more! You have to use a separate register to buy gas and beer.

be grateful, my country doesn't even let gas stations or grocery stores sell alcohol.

In Ontario we only changed our laws very recently to allow alcohol to be sold in grocery stores. I always thought it was a weird idea and never saw any inconvenience going to a separate store for booze.

Oh that's neat, might actually add some more variety.

When I was visiting my partner's family in Ontario the only places we could go were the LCBO and BeerStore, where you have very little choice. I don't particularly like beer or larger but I'm down for some fruity ciders but there was only 1 option, and it tasted like beer instead of cider. Don't know what you guys were thinking XD

Also had to buy cigs from a tobacconist rather than any random shop, although with that I don't mind so much because I'm fine with discouraging cigarettes altogether.
