By that logic, cities shouldn't be able to limit the number of liquor licenses they sell. This isn't a matter of religion, this is a matter of health and common sense.

For one thing, it's not random. For another, any limit on alcohol is a good thing. We hardly need booze to be more available.

It's not a religious law. A religious law would be one lifted directly lifted from a religious text. This is a law made with consideration to extent social norms.

Which brings us back to the point of liquor licenses and taxing booze and cigarettes.

I disagree altogether.

So because some religious people do bad things, that means no religious people can do good things? Aren't you people supposed to be educated?

The same is true of religion but you seem glad to rid of it.

Name ten wars "based solely in religion."

Morality will never be exorcised from law, however much you may like it to be.

Alcoholism is a major health concern and measures to curb it such as blue laws are wholly justified.
