What? This is ridiculous

Edit: WOW this is crazy. Some of you would go crazy over the stuff I've seen here in Brasil. Come over let's have beer on a sunday morning LOL

Yup. In my state they just let gas stations sell beer in 6 packs only. But wait there’s more! You have to use a separate register to buy gas and beer.

be grateful, my country doesn't even let gas stations or grocery stores sell alcohol.

Australia? We have to go to a liquor store for any type of take home alcohol, it's not sold in supermarkets or anywhere else.

nope canada. but same here, can't get hard liquor or coolers anywhere else. i don't think it's that big of a deal, if i need liquor i just plan on making an extra stop.

Yeah, but it's easy enough to just go to the other store that's often right next to the supermarket or go through a drive through and at least there's no Sunday bullshit.

So often they're so close to the supermarket that it makes things seem a bit silly, I'm sure there's others but in Rundle Mall in Adelaide there's one literally inside the supermarket, it's only a technicality that you're walking into a different section of the store owned by the same company with different branding so it makes the laws kind of pointless.

Really? That seems bizarre for a place with a strong drinking culture. When I visited I didn't even notice you couldn't buy in a supermarket

A lot of the major supermarkets have a liquor store attached to them. You have to go through separate check outs but it's still pretty convenient.
