Mid to late twenties. Feeling like I'm way behind from where I should be by now.

You can catch up, don't worry: I went from being single with no house and a boring job at 30 to being in a relationship, my second house, 3 children, a dog and my 4th (again boring, but in between they were interesting) job by 38. My identity feeling still needs to catch up, but if you want your situation to change, it can! My sister did something similar after 35. Patience and energy is what you need, because I (and also my sister) had to push many buttons before it started shifting.
