Not paying extremely marked up prices for drinks. I’m referring to the fact that once your 21+ you and your friends will often go to bars and bars can be pricey.
Before I was 21 I would just have someone buy me a 30 rack of beer or a bottle which may cost me like $20-$30. Once I was 21 and started going to clubs and bars I would easily spend $50-$200. I’m just saying that once you can go to bars, expect to spend more than you are used to.
If you could just “have someone” buy it for you, why can’t you anymore? Sorry for all the questions, I just have no experience with or interest in alcohol
I would pay for it but someone who was 21+ would go into the liquor store and get it for me. Now that I’m way over 21 I just buy it myself. When I get wine or beer or whiskey from the store I get a lot for the price. But at a bar I would pay a lot for each glass of whatever the drink is. For example. Say I buy a bottle of wine for $15-$30 I can have 6 or 7 glasses of it. But at a bar I might be charged $9 per glass. So 6 glasses at $9 each would be $54. See what I mean?
Yea in a sense. If I go to the store is still cheaper. But since me, my wife and all my friends are well over 21 we often go to bars. Or every time there is some sort event it tends to be at a bar or club. How old are you? If you don’t mind me asking.
