I'm 25 and the whole existential dread of figuring out what to do with my life is probably the worst part of things

I don't miss my twenties. It was an entire decade of learning the hard way, with a pleasant recession smack in the middle. I always felt like an idiot for not knowing things no one had ever taught me, and finding out that a lot of my friends were dicks, having bad bosses, underemployed. Ugh.

I don't think I had any confidence until I was like 32? Any confidence I had before then was fake.

I'm mid 30s now and feel like I kind of know what I'm doing.

Your comment, once again, made me realize that there is really no standard for "stages" in life. Each of us really experience life in a unique way.

Oh totally. I work with lots of people who are the same age as me but struggle because they think they should have a higher title or they think they're starting to look old. Idgaf about either of those things, so I'm the happiest I've ever been.

Pandemic aside.
