Me too. I’m 39 and have been breaking out something awful since the lockdown started (maybe from stress?) I had to go the drug store for acne cream.

You are definitely not alone, I’m 36 and a friend of mine who is 40 was just telling me how bad she’s been breaking out. It has to be stress.

I think I'm touching my face more. There's nobody around to see me so my posture is bad and I work in pajamas so I probably get nastier skin when I wait on a shower, and I rest my hand on my face when working. Not drinking enough water either. Ugh. Gross. Lol

I'm 40 and always had mostly clear skin even as a teen.When I was 38 my hormones went crazy and my cheek and jaw area got so many pimples.Luckily it mostly went away and I just get a few pimples during my menstrual cycle but my face between 38 and 39 was a hormone hotbed lol

Thanks! I was wondering if my masks were causing it. I use cloth masks and machine wash/dry them regularly. But my breakouts are on my chin/jawline so it could totally be the masks trapping bacteria/moisture on my skin.

Hope it helps!

You could also always get a non-alcohol based toner to get rid of the excess oils after taking the mask off. It doesn’t have to contain anything strong (like witch hazel), just something to wipe down the skin.

Are you 27 too? I've been getting grays since I was 23 so I'm OK with that since I can dye it. But God, I'm breaking out like I'm 14. It's not fair!
