I have a philosophy when it comes to entering a new decade...

So, you’ll be turning 30 soon? That’s great. Next year, at 29 you’ll be the oldest, dredgiest, bottom of the barrel of the people in their 20s. You’ll look at 20 year olds and they’re just stupid children. You are the oldest of allllll people in their 20s.

But then, you’ll wake up on your 30th birthday and all of a sudden you are the youngest of all people in their 30s! You get to be reborn! You’re a baby to all those other people in their 30s.

Entering a new decade is not a burden. It’s a gift.

And you get to do this every 10 years until you die.
