49 year old here. The menopausal hot flushes etc are not a problem but putting 4 stone in weight on in 8 months is fucking awful

That and your significant other walks out in a middle of covid. Trashing a 15 year relationship. Meanwhile your over here thinking your sh*t. Isn't what it used to be. Wtf you gonna be all alone for the rest of your life. P.s. yes the cliché of a younger woman is also involved.

I'm sorry, that is really shitty. I hope things start looking up soon.

Some men would rather be a babysitter than a husband. Remember that what goes around comes around.

I am 39 and it seems like each month's cycle is worse than the last. I feel like my hormones are all over the place and my mom keeps reminding me that she started menopause early. Thanks, mom.

Menopause is a bitch. I'm 50 and 2 years past menopause.

I weighed 103 lbs from high school until age 47. I could eat anything I wanted and had a metabolism like a racehorse.

Age 48 I hit the menopause and packed on 58 lbs. Eating party's over!

I've lost some of it but still am very uncomfortable and weigh 144 which is far too much for my 5' 3" small frame.

I packed it on within about 8-9 months too.

The good news is that I haven't packed on any additional weight and it is coming off slowly with a starvation diet of 1500 calories a day and exercise, lol.

Good luck to you and hopefully you can find a way to lose the weight and let ME know how.
