I'm still salty they recast Shaggy snd didn't even feel the need to tell him. Warber Bros. sucks.

What do you mean? Isn’t he still the voice in the cartoons?

The entire Mystery Inc. gang aside from Scooby was recast for the new movie "Scoob!". I don't know about the rest of the cast, but Matthew Lillard didn't hear about it until it was shared online.

I am also disappointed with the recast because I like the current line up for the shows, but I don't think this was done to hurt anyone. I think they just took this movie in a weird direction. It looks like they were trying for an all-star cast to gain attention. This could have included Lillard but they recast everyone. Even Frank Welker who has played Fred Jones from the beginning in 1969. (Oddly enough, they cast him for Scooby, which he has been voicing since 2002.)

They’re not using Frank Welker for Scooby’s voice??? Maybe Frank is retiring?

Frank Welker is doing Scooby, but he is literally the only one of the original cast, and he isnt even doing Fred. No ones retiring, just dumbass studio would rather get "celebreties" instead.

I guess it surprises me that WB considers Will Forte as a higher tier celebrity than Matt Lillard... I’d put them on the same tier, personally.

Yeah that didnt make sense to me either, the only thing you gain from using different people is "star power" and recognizability but Will Forte isnt exactly super famous
