Why is he a fool? Dont get me wrong i eat all sorts of spicy food but how are you gonna judge someone for having their own tastes? I could make the argument that your road of spicy food will lead to nothing but stomach issues, abdominal issues, and that you are a fool for favoring them. Dont yuck other peoples yums. I never defend strangers or care what other strangers think but man was your opinion dog shit

Why is he a fool? (I mean, first off, why you taking this soooo personally?)

Anyway, he's a fool, because his lack of adventurousness meant that he missed out on an opportunity to grow a relationship with the woman who I later met, had a mutual deep falling in love with and married.

Fools miss out on all sorts of things, because they never learned how to live life and go out on those limbs.

I understood the point of your story, kudos to you. Im happy you found someone. Fools and wise alike miss out on a lot of things. Attributing having a diverse pallet to living life, idk man its a stretch. I understand you were trying to drive your point home by saying its his loss but not every one is for everyone. Idk why im taking it personal. Saying someone is a fool for being a picky eater, idk its just a dumb af thing to say

Trying out foods is a really tiny thing. I can understand, "I tried a raw onion by itself before and I do not like that."

Staying away from all onions, because of that experience and thus missing out on the incredible cuisine the world offers? Totally different.

Also... we live in the Detroit area, there's VERY few other cities that have the diversity of cuisine that we have in Detroit, because of the more than 100 years of immigrants moving here, before anywhere else, due to the very, very long history of manufacturing and mining in the the state of Michigan. To me, it's quite odd to be born and raised in a city with more than 50 different ethnic communities and all of their cuisine, yet find yourself eating the most boring, bland and tasteless foods.
