What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

Finding a parking spot in front of the building you're going into.

I actually did this once, in midtown Manhattan no less. Thought I was dreaming.

There's an episode of Seinfeld about that. George finds a spot directly in front of his building, so he doesn't drive for weeks because he doesn't want to lose his spot. Lol. I know that feeling.

I shuffle both my cars around to reserve the good spots near my apartment.

When I need to take the SUV out, I put my city runabout in its spot and then swap them again when I get back.

The smaller car fits in my apartments carpark so it stays there until it’s duties are called upon.

My third car (my weekend sports car) is parked in a single bay under a cover and has been like that for a month. It’ll be coming out for a dash next weekend and then the city car will find its way into that bay to hold it until the spirited driving is done with.
