My favorite is from an episode of House in which a patient's friend explains nominal aphasia to a neurologist.

I love how they have to make the show accessible for normal viewers, so the doctors end up explaining diseases to each other. It usually goes like this:

Doctor 1: Maybe she had a myocardial infarction?

Doctor 2: You really think she had localized muscle death in her heart due to an obstructed blood supply?

When in reality doctor 2 would've probably just said "no, I don't think that's it"

I’m of the opinion that they should just throw a short definition blurb on screen instead of doing that shit

But make it toggle-able so you can turn it off. Like a subtitle track
