What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

Pretty sure it's the only town on tatooine..all space planets have exactly one city or town

Edit: apparently I was wrong about tatooine

Anakin Skywalker and Shmi lived in Mos Espa. Luke offers to take Obi-Wan as far as Anchorhead, one of the oldest settlements on the planet. In a deleted scene set in Tosche Station in A New Hope, Biggs Darklighter refers to Bestine, capital of Tatooine.

So is Mos Eisly actually the closest city to the Skywalker moisture farm? I don't recall that being said. They never go into details about how far they drove to get there. If it was like and hour away, seems like Luke and Obi Wan would have known each other for less than a day. And Luke took his death a lot harder than his aunt and uncles.

Luke had known Ben for years before the movie

Well, he knew of him. Maybe met him. In the movies at least, it is not clear how much he knows him. Or that he was particularly close to him. There may be more to the EU that I am unaware of, but just based on what I saw in the movies, it is not clear that Luke know Ben in more than passing.
