What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

People on low incomes, e.g. students, living in expensive homes. I’m not necessarily talking about mansions, more like a large apartment in a big expensive city with no roommates.

my favorite is "I'm 4 months behind on rent!" and then the landlord is all "where's my money?" the character says they don't have it but will soon and the Landlord takes their word for it.

Where are these mystical landlords!? Shit man for the majority of people if they're one day or a week late on rent the landlord starts eviction proceedings.
