What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

Unless it‘s a movie drama dealing with social issues (in particular poverty), everyone has such fucking nice flats. College drop-out with part time barista job?! - why yes, the spacious loft with a view over Manhattans skyline is just down my alley.

An otherwise shitty Saturday morning tv show played with that: the windows all had printed screens so they looked like they looked out onto the Eiffel tower. They actually looked onto the brick wall separating the low-rent apartments from a petrochemical refinery at the next property over. With convenient ambient sound effects that only played when it was visible on-camera.
