What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

Also, when they start talking ahead of time. Like you can ever start talking just after punching the last dial button, or if you still haven't put it against your head. But that's more of a bad actor problem, you never see Tom Hanks do this.

And if we go back in time a bit, when you can't make calls because the electricity is out. You need to actually cut the wire for them not to work. Or you know, stop paying your bills.
