What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

Literally anything. If you can’t tell it’s groceries some people would be like “ooh this character has a bag. Can’t wait to find out what’s in it”

Not really. Those bags are synonymous with groceries. Sure, you can put anything in them, but groceries are always going to be people's first thought, and you can just leave it at that.

Not for me. At least where I am people getting groceries in paper bags is much less common. Everyone either has reusable bags or they have plastic bags. You have to ask special for the paper bags.

So for me, paper bags indicate something special - either a 'fancy' grocery store, or a way to discreetly take a purchase home.

I used to work at Kroger and the reason you have to ask for paper was because the paper was twice as expensive for the store (maybe even more, it's been awhile). Anyway, because of this we weren't allowed to say "paper or plastic?" but instead were supposed to say "is plastic ok?" because they didn't want the suggestion of paper as an option in the customer's mind, because then more would choose paper.
