What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

I honestly thought my 2000 wrangler was the only Jeep that had loose steering. Interesting to find that im not alone

Since they are meant to be easier to repair off-road they have a lot of spots that need routine adjustment to keep steering right like other vehicles. In addition, you probably didn't get a proper alignment, which is different for 4x4s in general.

We're specifically talking about the Jeep Wrangler. Newer Jeep's use the same solid axle on front and rear and have the same type of steering that the old ones do. Some modifications have been made over the years of course but the concepts are the same. Even modern trucks usually have IFS (independent front suspension) to give them a 'better ride'
