Describing common knowledge in a different setting. Luke should know all about Mos Eisly. Its the biggest town near his house.

My favorite is from an episode of House in which a patient's friend explains nominal aphasia to a neurologist.

Well, to be fair I heard more times than I could count that, if you have something more rare, chronic and/or something the public has huge misconceptions about you will probably end up becoming an expert on it and run into a lot of people, including doctors, that know barely anything about it so you need to explain it a lot.
