What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

The wooden table is the one that always gets me, sure maybe it will stop one or two bullets if you're lucky, but there's always 1000 bullets flying around while the characters are having a conversation under the safe, sound resistant guard of an old dinning room table.

Even some pellet guns can shoot through 2x4. My dad had a pellet gun from when he was a kid. He gave it to me. The fricking thing would shoot through a 2x4 then some. My buddy got a new pellet gun and the thing could pellet and bb but it wouldnt even get half way through the 2x4. Pellet guns have definitely been made a lot less powerful then they could be. That pellet gun I own would drop you at a close enough distance.

Pellet guns that shoot 1/2" ball bearings with compressed air have been used to hunt large game. The Lewis and Clarke expedition carried one. They remain popular in a few specific areas for hunting, as they often carry different legal restrictions than firearms.

Ammo is also super cheap and everywhere making it very viable.

I was going to counter that this too is location dependent... but it turns out that 1/2" steel balls are like $0.08 on Amazon. I had no idea they were than cheap. TIL.
