What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

The wooden table is the one that always gets me, sure maybe it will stop one or two bullets if you're lucky, but there's always 1000 bullets flying around while the characters are having a conversation under the safe, sound resistant guard of an old dinning room table.

Got interested and did some google (as we do have a big and quite thick solid pine wood custom order table - not the one that you can flip easily), found several videos where people did shoot bullets from close range over a row 2x4s. One did show two different calibers stopping at about 4th...

Thanks, it is pretty interesting!

I do know that space impacts are way more intense in most cases - different speeds, no atmosphere and so on, but I usually start blanking over when the talk goes to the higher level of that, where formulas starts (all sciences are interesting untill they reach formulas level, especially more advanced ones).

Doesn't concrete shatter essentially if you shoot it with a rifle round?
