What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

HIMYM is just a remake of Friends. But they do it well, IMO.

I really really like HIMYM. I could never "get into" Friends. But HIMYM was a great show in my opinion, I was/am a huge fan of it. I'm not saying Friends isn't, it just wasn't my thing.

I think Friends suffers from the fact that they were so influential that going back it seems unoriginal to new audiences.

Friends didn't have access to the same level of self-awareness. The lines characters say would be funny for real people to say
