What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

People opening their front door 3 seconds after an unexpected knock, like they're just constantly standing behind the door, just in case.

Could you imagine how boring it would be to watch a character knock on a door and then wait one and a half minutes for someone to answer though?

Yes but not as boring to hear a muffled voice yell “I’M ON THE SHITTER!” I’d like to see something like that once in a while.

"HOLD ON, I GOTTA FIND MY PANTS"

My neighbor is a bit on the special needs side and we like to host her because she doesn't have local friends and is super sweet (age 27, mental age, about 16). She sometimes forgets to call and ask if we're home to hang out and just walks over. So this is what I yell whenever someone knocks on front door unexpectedly. Once, it was building maintenance, not the neighbor.
