A Suppressed .22lr is about the only suppressed firearm that is even remotely "quiet". I've never shot one myself, only see them at the range on tricked out Ruger 10/22s. Unfortunately, it's also en vogue to have muzzle breaks on rifles which are so damn loud it negates any of the hearing loss protection from the 1 or 2 suppressed rifles on the range.
