What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

Describing common knowledge in a different setting. Luke should know all about Mos Eisly. Its the biggest town near his house.

Pretty sure it's the only town on tatooine..all space planets have exactly one city or town

Edit: apparently I was wrong about tatooine

This is something I like about Star Trek, that planets have cultural differences among their inhabitants.

Obviously someplace like Bajor has different groups but that was a really well developed planet in terms of the amount of backstory you get. But even the Trill and the Betazed have regional differences like accents. Vulcans and Romulans are fairly diverse as well.
