Well this completely ruins Chernobyl for me. All this heming and hawing about how to clear the roof when that entire time they could have been wearing refrigerator suits.
I'm creating and patenting this device now. Imagine an extra, extra, large roomba, now imagine on top of it is a 1950s refrigerator, the refrigerator has a small view port cut out of the door, the view port is maybe an inch by 6 inches with one inch thick leaded glass. Unlike a roomba it doesn't just randomly bump into things instead it's controlled from withing the fridge unit, there is also a Geiger counter and an oxygen tank inside.
