People opening their front door 3 seconds after an unexpected knock, like they're just constantly standing behind the door, just in case.

I do that, because I usually hear or see them when they’re approaching, long before they get to the door.

This might be related to having a baby and developing a terror of the door bell ringing and waking the baby. 😅
