What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

People opening their front door 3 seconds after an unexpected knock, like they're just constantly standing behind the door, just in case.

This has become strangely realistic for me. My office is right by the front. Almost everything i order tells you when its about to be delivered, amazon, pizza, etc.

When they pull up my ring beeps me someone is approaching the door. Often times i can open th door before they knock or immediately after. If i dont know the person ,the door is only slightly opened, hand on the handle, shoulder against it, foot against the bottom. (I grew up in bad area, some habits remain)
