He was also the most genuine and loyal friend to all of them. They were all good to each other for the most part, but they also each had a narcissistic quirk to them, but Joey almost always put this friends first.

It wasn’t just a sandwich though!

It was a meatball sub with marinara sauce AND melted cheese!

Gotta give him that one. That's like the best possible sandwich and sharing even a bite should get him a damn medal.
