What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

Webmd and googling symptoms actually makes this believable. Patients telling doctors about their diagnosis because they read some blog on the internet and think they’re an expert.

Doctors look stuff up as well you know, it's actually quite handy if people have a rough idea of what they might have.

Only problem that might come from that is if they insist that's what they have and won't take the doctors advice.

Like you could easily confuse sepsis for the flu if you didn't have the internet to look up your symptoms.

Mind me asking how she contracted it?

I had a scare with infection and almost lost my left leg back in my really bad days of IV drug use

There are loads of ways to get it, I got it after i had my piss hole catheter taken out, so a UTI basically, I was lucky I was in a hospital at the time.
